Sewing Class, Penboyr CP school 1950's
Description
The photo shows a girls sewing class at Penboyr CP School, Drefach Felindre around 1954. We were making green toilet bags made out of a very tough, water-proof PVC material. My fingers bled as I tried to pierce the needle through a double layer of the material. The teacher Miss Evans Pensarn is standing at the back of the class.
