Description
The Cyfarthfa Limestone Quarry with Morlais Castle in the distance. Gyrnos Quarry in Cwm Taf Fechan supplied Cyfarthfa Iron Works with limestone for fluxing furnaces and for building. The works are inactive, indicating that this was taken during one of the strikes and periods of closure in the 1870s.
