Steam driven canal barge outside Queens Hotel, Trallwn, Pontypridd, c. 1895

Description

Only two steam barges were ever used on the Glamorganshire canal. This one was photographed opposite the Queens Hotel near the Llanover Arms. All the other barges on the canal were horse-drawn.
