'Cymdeithas Cymreigyddion y Fenni' (The Abergavenny Cymreigyddion Society) was an influential Welsh cultural society. It was formed in 1833 by a number of patriots including Thomas Price (Carnhuanawc, 1787-1848) and Lady Llanover (Augusta Hall, neé Waddington, 1802-96) also known as 'Gwenynen Gwent' ('The Bee of Gwent'). The Society did much to promote Welsh culture in the area between 1833 and 1854.
