Indictment, 10 March 1547
Description
This indictment reads as follows:
'Robert ap Llywelyn ap Ieuan ap David of Castell, yeoman, Thomas ap Robert ap Llywelyn, yeoman, Robert ap Hywel ap David, yeoman, (Catherine ferch David ap Robert, housewife, and Marsli ferch Robert ap Llywelyn, housewife) all of the same, at Castell unlawfully assembled themselves together in an illegal assembly in a hostile, riotous and armed manner and entered upon certain parcels of land called Tir Blethyn Cowlwyd lately demised by Richard Bulkeley, knight, deceased and by John Wyn and others to a certain Catherine ferch Rhys Wyn for a term of years not yet finished and expelled the said Catherine from her possession and made assault upon her and upon Margaret ferch Edmund ap Rhys.
