Indictment, 31 December 1556
Description
This indictment reads as follows:
'Alice ferch David ap Llywelyn of Dinorwig, spinster, Morfudd ferch Roger of the same, spinster and Henry ap William ap Thomas of the same, labourer, at Dinorwig feloniously stole a sheep worth 6d. belonging to Gruffydd ap William ap Hywel at Ady.
Insertion above the line: a ponit se, cognoscit parvam latrocinam.
Footnote: vapulabuntur apud Caern' et dimittentur.
Endorsement: per juratam de Uchor': billa vera.'
