Petition of Gwen verch Thomas against Owen Davies, Llanddyniolen [Llanddeiniolen], Clerk, and his wife Margarett Edwards for causing malicious troubles and the imprisonment of Gwen re. her taking earnest in her son's name for him to serve Owen Davies for 12 months - if he does not condescend then she is to pay the earnest back. This agreement was made in the church yard of Llanddeiniolen before witnesses. Also the said Owen had spoken many abusive words to members of the parish, namely Catherine verch Robert ap David, saying that she used to smother young children to death.
