Title in pencil verso, in hand of K.W.. Verso '300' and top left encircled '37' in pencil in hand of K.W. Drawn on light brown tinted laid paper, with 'Ingres' watermark. See K.W. 'A Wider Sky', (1991) re visits to Scotand. His second visit in 'the late 'fifties' (p 82) was followed by a return visit in 'the following year' (p 87), during which he went 'past the mountains of Suilven ..' (p 91). Thick tapes attached verso, removed March 2009.
