Welsh Tile by JC EDWARDS, Ruabon, in the style of William de Morgan, ruby lustre
Description
Beautiful and old, most likely late 19th century.
On the back, the top piece has marked JC EDWARDS and RUABO (the 'N' is in a missing piece), which I believe to be Ruabon in Denbighshire (Wales), and the word GRIP; there is something else marked but I can only make an RM as end of another word. The bottom piece does not seem to have anything marked on it.
