Letter from members of the Liverpool Colonizing Committee to the Rev. Michael D. Jones, 7 December 1865 [image 1 of 2]

Description

The members of the Liverpool Colonizing Committee write to the Rev. Michael D. Jones to inform him that, despite their support for the Welsh settlement, they oppose a scheme proposed by Cadivor [Thomas Cadivor Wood]. In their opinion, the scheme is both 'treacherous and damaging', and they warn Michael D. Jones to be on his guard against businessmen who may not share the same ideas and principles as themselves.
