Field dressing from the First World War
Description
Pouch containing two field dressings in waterproof covers, each consisting of a gauze pad stitched to a bandage and a safety pin. These were issued to VAD nurse Muriel Lennox, who worked at the St John Garrison Hospital on Barry Island during the war (1916-18).
