Roman Wax Tablet
Description
A Roman wax tablet (75-125 AD) found at Trawsfynydd and held in the collections at Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales. The wax, which would have been black, has disappeared, but traces of what was written on it can still be seen on the surface of the wood. Accession number: 2004.60HThis item is part of the Roman School Teaching Resource for Key Stage 2.
