This studio photograph shows Pte Joshua Harries (1888-1978) and his younger brother, Henry Richard Harries (b.1891), in their uniforms of the Welch Regiment during the First World War. This document was brought to the attention of the U-Boat Project 1914-18 by Rhian Nelmes, Tre'r Ddôl, who inherited the collection from her great-grandfather, Joshua Harries (1888-1978), and kindly allowed us to share it.
