Iguanodon tooth
Description
Replica of a fossil Iguanodon tooth. Plant eating dinosaurs had small, flat teeth for grinding up plants. This tooth from the lower jaw of Iguanodon shows the crown, some wear due to chewing by the dinosaur, and part of the root. This item is held at National Museum Cardiff.
