Tyrannosaurus rex claw
Description
Meat eating dinosaurs had sharp claws for catching their prey. This is a replica of the biggest claw from a Tyrannosaurus foot. The two grooves either side of the claw held a sharp 'fingernail' which covered and protected the claw bone. This item is held at National Museum Cardiff.
