Industry, Glynneath - W. E. Bowen

Photographs taken by my father, W. E. Bowen and Jim Gittings during the last production run at the British Aluminium Works at Rheola in the Neath Valley before the factory closed. British Aluminium opened the factory as a strip mill in 1939 and at its height employed 1500 people; when it closed in 1981 there where 590 people employed there.
