A collection of images depicting Barry Docks and the surrounding area. The docks were formally opened in 1889 and by 1913 Barry became the busiest coal ports in the world, exporting 11 million tons of coal.
This collecion also includes images of various companies based in the docks in the early years as well as  images that highlight Barry's contribution to trade and industry in south Wales in the twentieth century.
