A collection of images relating to activities in Buckholt Wood for underserved groups as part of the Buckholt Bryngaer project in 2024. The project worked with local groups that support young people with learning disabilities, asylum-seekers and refugees, foster children, young carers, teenagers from disadvantaged backgrounds, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and people with mental health issues. "Buckholt is not just a wood - but so much more”.
There were 194 visits by people during the year where the primary focus was on using the Wood for wellbeing activities such as bushcraft, clay modelling, foraging, making camps and cooking over a campfire.
