Letter from Robert H. Hughes to the Rev. Michael D. Jones, 8 January 1877

Description

Robert H. Hughes, Ffestiniog, begins this letter by confirming that he has received Michael D. Jones's note. In accordance with Jones's wishes, he went to Glanaber to look for 'W. W.', but he was not at home. He intends to call again today to deliver the receipt. His mother and sister give their kindest regards. In the postscript, he notes that he has now seen W.W. but that he is unwilling to respond with regard to the money. W.W. asked whether Michael D. Jones could provide some form of statement to clarify the situation.
