Images 1 - 2: Bodwrog on Angelsey is a village who won some of the festival's main competitions. The cup for the under 21 'Penillion' singing party was awarded to this happy lot. Also, the boys' reciting party (under 25) won first prize and the folk singing party again joint winners.
Images 3 - 4: Meriel James, Cwmgwili, Jennifer Evans, Pontarddulais and Norma Winstone, Felindre who won prizes for reciting under 15 years old.
Image 5: Gaenor Falmai Jones (14 years old) from Sarnau is a talented candidate who won the main prize for the 'alaw werin' folk singing for those under 16 years old and came third in the cerdd dant section for under 15 year olds.
