This is a copy of an original photograph of Charles Pope, who originates from Cowbridge, Wales. Charles rose to the rank of Chief Stoker in the Royal Navy and saw active service during the final months of WW1 and served throughout WW2. His record of service can be read in the West Wales Veterans archive. This photograph was handed to Charles' son Edward and remains with the family.
