This is a copy of a photograph that is in the possession of British Army Veterans Dai Dudley. Dai served for over twelve years with the Junior Leader regiment and Royal Regiment of Wales RRW between 1979 and 1982. In this photograph, Dai, positioned sitting down on his bed in barracks, working on a landscape model. Dai found that modelling offered him some relief from the often laborious day to day life in barracks of a soldier in the BAOR during the cold war. He has continued modelling throughout his life and had produced award winning war gaming pieces. He can be seen sitting in his studio, giving an interview in the David Dudley collection on line at the West Wales Veterans Archive.
