John Edno Roberts, 1837-1917, was a poet and writer, he contributed extensively to Welsh language publications in the United States. He emigrated from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Fair Haven, Vermont in 1858.

Dr Roberts wrote an obituary, in the Welsh newspaper 'Y Drych', June 1917, which describes his life story. (Article in Welsh)
