Former Chief Petty Officer John "Bob" Roberts joined the Navy in 1943. Following the war he went on to serve until 1967, ending his career at the Royal Navy historic dockyard. In this short excerpt from a full interview with John, he recalls some memories from his time on HMS Battelaxe.
