This is a copy of an original photograph belonging to Mr John Roberts RN retired. John served aboard HMS Diadem from September 1944. He survived four convoys, from Scapa flow to Murmansk and several actions where Kriegsmarine warships were engaged. Following the war he went on to serve until 1967.
