This is a photograph of the motorcycle that RAF Airman David "Dai" Griffiths owned in Cyprus when he was serving on the island with 34 squadron RAF Regiment in the mid to late 1950s. Dai rode service motorcycles whilst on duty and decided to purchase his own and enjoy exploring the island himself, during his off duty periods. He loved the bike so much, he imported it back to the UK and enjoyed many years of ownership. In the photograph you can see Dai carrying a friend as a pillion passenger.
