This is a photograph owned by Mr David "Dai" Griffiths who served in the RAF Regiment in the 1950s. Dai served with 34 squadron in Cyprus and it is believed the image shows one of his friends driving the Roller. The Gunners both manned work parties and guarded local Greek Cypriot labourers as they constructed infrastructure on the RAF station. This may have been Nicosia. This is a photograph of two RAF Regiment Gunners taken at an unknown RAF encampment in the 1950s.
