Description
This is a photograph of RAF Regiment Gunner SAC David "Dai" Griffiths stood by the tail plane of a Turkish Airliner in Cyprus during the 1950s. Dai was serving with 34 squadron RAF Regiment at the time. Dai's memoirs of Cyprus and his time in the RAF can be viewed online in the David Griffiths RAF collection on the West Wales Veterans Archive at the Peoples Collection Wales website.
