This is a copy of a photograph taken of the course at the Royal Army Veterinary school in April 1976. The course was conducted at Melton Mowbray between October 1975 and April 1976. Gunner Peter Slater of the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery is pictured standing in the rear rank fourth from the right, as you look at the image. Peter went on to serve for a number of year in the Kings Troop and his memoirs of service can be heard in the Peter Slater collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples Collection Wales website.
