This is an oil painting by British Army Veteran Bruce McKay of Gwynedd. Bruce served with the Royal Welch Fusiliers, taking part in the advance through northern Germany between 1944 and 1948. Bruce took to painting on his farm in Wales which provided him with a cathartic release.
