Three photographs taken by Douglas Davies whilst serving in the Royal Army Medical Corps in India c.1943.
Whilst in India Davies purchased his first camera for 5 rupees, photographing various street scenes, people and buildings around the country, including these images of an Indian train at a station, people washing or dying fabric near a river, and two men engaged in an unknown activity on a pavement.
