Hereford College of Arts student Rebecca Baddeley talking about the making of her textile banner at the launch of the sculpture trail in Buckholt Wood. The work was commissioned by Buckholt Bryngaer CIC. Suspended between local timber poles reminiscent of wooden ramparts, 'Threads of the Land' incorporates natural cotton fabrics dyed with nettle and birch, alongside recycled textiles. Movement in the wind symbolises the passage of time, merging past and present.
