Description

Hereford College of Arts student Bex Wood explains the inspiraton for her sculpture at the launch of the sculpture trail in Buckholt Wood. The work was commissioned by Buckholt Bryngaer CIC. The moss-covered sculpture of a partially buried dog symbolizes loyalty and protection, echoing the fort's purpose. The mound-like form mirrors nearby arcaheological features, suggesting the dog has become part of the landscape over centuries.Part of Buckholt Bryngaer Sculpture Trail.
