Sculpture by Hereford College of Arts student Emily Hedges commissioned by Buckholt Bryngaer CIC. Part of Buckholt Bryngaer Sculpture Trail. The sculpture explores archaeological discovery through 12 white clay tiles shaped like Iron Age axe heads. Marked with soil from the site and fired using the unpredictable Saggar technique, the tiles hang in the woods inviting visitors to handle them and experience the excitement of excavation.
