Private John Llewellyn Job letter July 1916
Description
Private John Llewellyn Job of Manselton served with the East Lancashire Regiment in Salonika, Greece. This is a letter from Salonika, July 1916 - note how he writes of the conditions '... they say that the later part of this month and the next is the hottest month in the year. It seems practically impossible got it to get any hotter - it's like being in front of a furnace to be exposed in the sun.'
