This bilingual account is comprised from interviews given by Lt Col Peter Latham to Hugh Morgan of the West Wales Veterans Archive during the initial Covid lockdown restrictions in 2020.  

Lt Col Latham's long service in the British Army is told from his own perspective where he recounts recollections from his time as one of the very first National Servicemen in 1947 and his story from this period is therefore of particular significance in terms of military history.
