Caroline, Elenora and Howell Williams of Ysgiach Ganol Farm, Felindre, Swansea discuss their family bible

Description

Caroline : What’s the first date?
Elenora: Gwyn has done something there
Caroline: Well this is dated back to 1782. David William, because apparently there was William until Williams, isn’t it?
Elenora: Yes
Caroline: That was added on sometime between…I remember Clive saying recording some woman’s birth and death. She went from William to Williams and that's how it stuck then.
So you could see this one whoever he was. Age 62. So he was David William. David seems to be quite a popular name here as well.
Elenora: David William was Llewellyn’s father, wasn’t he? No, I’d better not say that, in case that’s wrong.
Caroline: There we are, love that ones, 1765. Jane William. What's this one? That's 1759. John William .that was. Born in the year 1759. I can’t understand the rest of the writing.
[Edward] Howell: Is there anymore in the back?
Caroline: I don’t know, are there anymore written down here.
Elenora: No, I don't think so.
