Before Penyrenglyn Project was opened, Julie Spiller, working for Valleys Kids ran a Playgroup.  This play group was held in the former Treherbert Youth Club building.  Julie worked with both the social services and health visitors to help increase the numbers of children having they childhood vaccinations.  This was a very impactful project.
