Film promoting links between Valleys Kids in the Rhondda and Amampondo from Langa Township in Cape Town. Valleys Kids have worked with Amampondo since 2004 on several projects including a performance in front of Prince Williams during half time of Wales v Africa game in Novemeber 2009
Amampondo is a South African percussion ensemble which started as a group of buskers on the streets Cape Town in 1978.
Langa Township established in 1927 is one of the oldest Townships in Cape Town. It has a population of over 250,000, and though improvements are being made suffers from widespread poverty and deprivation, and offers limited opportunities for children and young people.
