This is a film recording of part 1 of 2, which was recorded by Age Cymru Dyfed Veterans officers, with former National Serviceman Mr Mike Warren. Mike joined the RAF in 1955 and served for 2 years as a 'Clerk Progress'. In this film, Mike talks about growing up in South Yorkshire, conscription and training. He remembers training at RAF Bridgnorth and Credenhill, before flying overseas to eventually arrive at RAF Ta'qali on Malta. He shares his memories of the island, before part 1 ends.
