Pontypool Police Station being demolished

Description

The Police Station was located behind the Town Hall in the centre of Pontypool from around 1862 until the 1970's when a new building was constructed just 50 metres up the road. This picture shows the start of the demolition. The site is now occupied by Torfaen County Borough Council Civic Centre.
