Mortarium Sherd Information
Description
Helen McCarthy chose to research the mortarium sherd for the exhibition on the Hidden Histories of Caerau and Ely, Cardiff Story Museum, October 2018.
She chose the sherd because of her own love of cookery, and memories of walking to the Roman Villa at Ely as a child.
