This collection offers an insight into the experiences of National Serviceman Norman Kenney. Norman completed two years service in the British Army, as a soldier in the Royal Army Service Corps between 1956 and 1958. In this collection the viewer will hear Norman share his story and in particular the lengthy posting to the island of Cyprus. During his tour in Cyprus, there was armed opposition to British interests from the EOKA terrorist group. Norman offers an interesting insight into the daily life of a British soldier on the island during this troubled period.
