This collection is an archive of stories and material relating to the period of compulsory conscription (1947 to 1963) focused on men and women who live or have lived in the three counties of Dyfed and Powys.  The collection features video or audio interviews with men who were conscripted for National Service and servicemen and women who served alongside conscripted men. The material is supported by narrative accounts and photographs. This collection is possible thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
