Dowlais Visual Art Group participated in a creative activity as part of the Valleys Re-told Project. The artists produced a collection of artworks using the reduction process. The final results proved to be a great success with the works going on display in Dowlais Library and The Engine House, Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil. These works were exhibited along side a selection of paintings and photographs held at Amgueddfa Cymru - The National Museum of Wales Collection in 2023.
