David Norris from Aberporth was conscripted for National Service in 1952. He served for two years in the Royal Corps of Signals, the majority of which was completed overseas. After leaving the Army, he joined the Merchant Navy. David and his wife Marion have provided photographs and material from his service in the Army and Merchant Navy. These items bring the collection to life and offer an incredible insight into his life. This material supports the work of the West Wales Veterans Archive National Service project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
