Every parish has a “Go to” person, the person everybody asks about almost anything.
At St Peter’s Bargoed, that person is definitely Maureen Williams, so we were delighted to learn that she has been awarded a Diocesan Medal of Recognition. On Sunday 24th Feb 2019, at the 6pm Mass, Fr John Phillips presented Maureen with her medal, and we had the opportunity to say how much we appreciate all she does for us. Maureen is always the first to arrive and the last to leave and most of what happens in between relies on her efforts and organisation. Thank you Maureen, we are so lucky to have you.
