On Saturday 5th of September 2015 Archbishop George Stack was at St Peter’s, Bargoed for the Parish Centenary Mass. The Mass was con-celebrated by The Archbishop, Fr John Kelly (Dean of Pontypridd Deanery), Fr David Gummett (son of St Peter’s recently deceased Deacon Philip Gummett), Fr John Phillips (Priest at St Peter’s) and Fr John Harrington who grew up in the parish (living in retirement in Birmingham diocese).
