This would seem to be the illustration from the frontispiece of Edwin Lees' 1842 The botanical looker-out .... (very long title!). In this first edition (but not in the 2nd edition of 1851) the illustration includes the caption "Drawn by S. Smith, from a Sketch by E. Lees" as well as the identification of what the illustration shows.
