Snowdon, Sep 16th, 1886 by Beatrice Cummings
Description
This view by Beatrice was probably overlooking the Glaslyn
River given that they were done on the
same day as the sketch of Beddgelert -
16th September 1886.
Snowdon and the entire mountain range
are understandably a major focus for
tourists, recreationalists and artists – and
have been for the past four centuries.
Before that, they’d been the home of the
legends and the history that have fuelled
the identity of the Welsh ‘nationhood’.
